- True Nutrition's Maltodextrin is derived from non-GMO tapioca rather than corn. During this process, the starch of the tapioca undergoes an enzymatic process to break the long-chain carbohydrates into smaller polymers as a form of pre-digestion. The resulting polymers remain complex in nature and are metabolized at a slower digestion rate as compared to simple sugars like Dextrose, offering a time-sustained energy source that can be optimized in post-workout recovery nutrition or meal replacement formulas. Maltodextrin is virtually flavorless and dissolves readily into any liquid.

Calling in and placing my usual order is truly a pleasure! Each of the women I speak with, from Morgan to all the others, past and present are a joy to work with. They're always at the top of their game, caring and knowledgeable. So much so, that in my opinion as relates to customer service, they are so fantastic that each should receive a $15.00-an-hour raise and an additional 2-weeks of annual vacation!
As for using your organic, GMO-FREE Tapioca Maltodextrin, it's a first-rate experience yielding super results! Keep up the good

The maltodextrin itself is very good, but the packaging has been sub-par since the switch to the black color scheme. I've had two orders in a row now arrive with small holes in at least one of the bags in the order. Customer service did send me a replacement for the first one that arrived damaged/leaking (didn't bother reporting the same issue with the second order since the hole was small and not much leaked out). It is a bit concerning/frustrating that it happened twice in a row, though.

This is the best product of its type on the market and is part of my ingredient list which requires only 100% ORGANIC and GMO-FREE.

No taste really, which is good. Mix-ability is not as good. Clumps and sorta gel'd together. It eventually dissolved but took awhile. I do like that it's made from rice though.
