Beta-alanine is one of the few supplements that actually has solid research behind it for bodybuilding, especially when it comes to hypertrophy training.
It doesn’t build muscle directly. What it does is combine with histidine in your body to form carnosine, which helps buffer acid buildup in the muscles during hard sets.
Why it’s useful for bodybuilding:
Beta-alanine works best for efforts lasting about 60–240 seconds, which lines up perfectly with high-rep, high-volume work—sets of 12–20 reps, drop sets, supersets, etc.
More reps = more volume:
By reducing the burn, it can help you squeeze out an extra rep or two per set. Over time, that extra volume adds up and can contribute to better muscle growth.

The BA is effective and makes me want to claw my face off, as expected. The scoop size, however, seems like it's around 2 g, based on my kitchen scale but the serving size is 3 g. The label doesn't quite make it clear. It would be ideal of the label gave clarity or if these things matched up perfectly. Otherwise, no complaints.
