The stationary mixing piece does a good job and is also fully removable, which is nice and it cleans up easier than the spiral round metal spring type. This shaker keeps things hot or cold for many hours and travels well. Took it overseas for a trip and it was really handy in hot climates to keep my drinks cool.

I purchased the Shaker thinking it would be an upgrade on the cheap plastic cup with the metal stirring device inside. While this is a much nicer bottle to carry liquids in, it doesn't provide any upgrade on the mixing of protein shakes. It was an unnecessary purchase on my part.

As someone who has tried all kinds of shakers, including the cheap and the expensive ones. This shaker is hands down the best. i can put my protein powder (from true nutrition of course) in it put it in the fridge or add ice and it stays cold for a long time. the stainless-steel interior helps with clean up - i usually can just give it a quick wipe out / rinse out and use it again. no left-over smells from other product i might have put inside.
