We made these Chocolate Strawberry Fudge Protein Bars instead of buying chocolate this year. Yep, no regrets.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup natural peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup whey protein powder (chocolate preferred)
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 2–3 tbsp milk of choice (add slowly)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup dried strawberries, chopped

Directions

  • Mix peanut butter and honey until smooth.
  • Stir in melted coconut oil and vanilla.
  • Add cocoa powder, whey protein, and salt. Mix until fully combined.
  • Add milk 1 tbsp at a time until the mixture is thick, glossy, and spreadable (think soft fudge).
  • Gently fold in dried strawberries.
  • Press firmly into a parchment-lined loaf pan.
  • Chill 30–45 minutes, slice into bars.

~230 calories | 10g protein | 18g fat | 15g carbs
