Healthy Recipes #2: Protein Pancakes

Turn a treat in to a healthy breakfast with this delicious recipe for protein pancakes using True Nutrition brand ingredients today!

1 scoop Whey Protein Isolate (approx 30g)
1 1/2 scoops Oat Starch Powder (approx 50g)
5 large egg whites
2 tbps whole wheat flour
1-5 tbsp water
1/4 tsp baking soda

1/4 cup blueberries (optional)
1/2 diced banana (optional)
1/8 cup diced walnuts (optional)
1/8 tsp cinnamon (optional)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)

Directions: Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a large mixing bowl, adding water as needed to achieve desired consistency. Optional ingredients may be added, as well, based on preference. Cook on a hot frying pan set to medium heat for approximately 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown. 1 Serving will provide 2-4 protein pancakes, depending on size. Top with your favorite fruit or low-calorie dressing, and enjoy!
