Play With Your Food – Oatmeal Recipes

Some might argue that playing with your food is impolite, showing a clear discard for manners. And while we consider ourselves ladies and gentleman (sort of) we also highly advise letting loose and playing with your food. Why? Because it’s wicked fun to use your imagination to create the perfect combination of fun flavors and beneficial nutrition.

Oatmeal is an amazingly power-packed super food that offers beneficial fibers, carbs and protein, making it an awesome choice for anyone that is serious about fitness and bodybuilding. This powerful snack can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack and with our custom oatmeal generator, it never gets boring.

While we all have our favorite blends, we reached out to our good friend Kim at The Coconut Diaries for some of her favorite oatmeal recipes, as Kim’s oatmeal game is next level. Here she shares three epic oatmeal concoctions for anyone looking for some oatmeal inspiration.

Tumeric Oatmeal 

  • True Nutrition Oatmeal
  • 1/2 Tbsp of tumeric
  • 1/2 Tbsp of Better Body Foods Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Scoop of True Nutrition Pea Protein (I used cinnamon bun flavor for this batch)
  • Add water to mixTopped with: banana, banana coconut bites, shredded coconut and cacao nibs

Peanut Butter Oreo Oatmeal

  • True Nutrition Vanilla Oatmeal
  • Cookies & Cream Protein Cream (½ serving of True Nutrition Cookies & Cream Pea Protein, 2 Tbsp of sugar free syrup, 1 stevia packet, slowly add water and mix to desired consistency)
  • Chocolate Sauce (cacao powder, water, vanilla stevia)
  • Peanut Butter Drizzle (peanut butter, powder, water, stevia)
  • Crushed Oreos
