I got the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup flavor (2x) and I gotta say it tastes amazing for a vegan protein blend. Since I went vegan a few months ago I've been looking for flavors other than chocolate and vanilla and this is it. I lift a few times a week so I like to keep my protein higher than normal and this is actually one of the vegan protein powders that gives you 23g of protein per serving with the lower calorie count. Awesome!

Excellent protein for a vegan, for anyone. It has never given me any issues. I would recommend this to anyone, especially with the added flavor. The nutrition is hard to beat.

I give it an over all good. It's gritty, hard to mix but such is the nature of plant based proteins. I got the Premium Vanilla with Stevia and found the vanilla flavor great! Sadly though it tasted like an over dose of Stevia. Like you know those powdered stevia packages and you put two instead of one and you get that stevia bitterness? I found that bitterness with the premium vanilla+ stevia combo I tried. I look forward to experimenting with flavors and what not in future! I will definitely be ordering more once I run out of this stuff! I must emphasize I am over all pleased. Way better pricing than that vegan brand you all know (black label) that is ridiculously overpriced.

I'm a runner averaging approximately 90-100 miles per week and I use this product daily for recovery purposes. For the price, it absolutely cannot be beat. Personally I prefer the flavor of the products from Vega Sport (I also consistently use Vega's Recovery Accelerator), but Vega's protein powder is much too expensive. With True Nutrition I can order 3 lbs of the powder with additives (45 servings) and order 200 grams of glutamine and I still end up paying less than I would for a 20-serving container of Vega Sport Protein Powder. Serving suggestions: I like to mix the protein with a cup of either vanilla or chocolate almond milk. For a really great shake, add in a banana, 2 tablespoons of either peanut or almond butter, and any supplements you may like to take. I find that the thickness of this shake also solves a lot of the problems people may be experiencing with the grittiness. I should also note that I am not even vegan, though my diet is primarily plant-based. I find that this stuff digests much easier and faster than whey products.

It took me a while to decide how to rate this for the following reason. As a vegan protein I think its great because it is a good complete blend with a good amino acid profile and it it's instantized and mixes very easily. Now for the people that bitched about the taste and how gritty it is, Grow up it's not milked based and it will never taste or have the feel of a whey/casein shake. For the reviewer that wondered what the dark stuff at the bottom was that's hemp and all you have to do is keep swirling the cup as you drink it. My complain was on the flavlor I order Normal Natural Chocoloate with Stevia. When I drank it taste it like sweet watermelon/ bubble gum. It was not a bad taste but I think that TN is using too much stevia and not enough flavoring. With the natural flavors the x2 heavy should be the normal. As far as the Stevia either cut down on how much you are putting in or give us a light option. So overall I gave it a 3 simply because the natural flavlor does not work well. I order Chocolate and a separate Bananas and cream and the only way I can actually taste the flavlors is by eatin some of the poweder dry otherwsie they both have the very sweet stevia/bubble gum flavlor.

Best price, great taste and consistency as compared to other protein mixes like Vega (which is gross). I got chocolate and strawberries and cream flavors and both are very good, although next time I'll probably go heavy chocolate instead of regular. If you're looking for a good vegan protein, this is it.

Price is great, mixes good not great compared to others. You will need a strong flavor to mask the natural flavor.

It's delicious with "SO Delicious" coconut milk, which I drink by the gallon as well. Flavor "Natural Premium Orange Cream" (light) with Stevia. I found it very good- I'll probably go regular strength flavor and no Stevia next time. It's only very slightly granular- the gemma pea alone is--micro-foamy-- the rice alone is slightly gritty, and the hemp alone is gritty. (It's also the 'black bits' the other reviewer mentioned. It's the hemp seed shells) But blended together results in a creamy, only slightly noticeable texture, smooth mouthfeel (with coconut milk). Excellent overall!

The particular formulation I purchased (chocolate unsweetened with Stevia) I would actually rate a 1 star but other flavorings would probably be a lot better, hence my 3 star rating. With that said, it ends up being a very thick and chalky substance, possibly due to the high fiber content. There are also little black beads of unknown (to me at least) origin. I might try this product again with a better flavor.

I honestly didn't expect this to taste as good as it did. Last time I had a protein powder with Hemp was vega and I really didn't like it at all. I got it with the premium peanut butter Chocolate flavor and it is hands down the best tasting protein powder I have ever had.
