Healthy Recipes #8: Paleo Greens Smoothie

Being paleo doesn’t have to be a pain! There are plenty of great recipes out there that make clean eating a pleasure, like today’s tasty recipe for a Paleo Greens Smoothie! This delicious drink mix is packed with vital nutrients and natural energy to get you going in the mornings or between meals:

Paleo Greens Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup coconut or almond milk
1 frozen banana
3 scoops Super Greens Powder (approx 24 grams)
2 tbsp almond butter

Optional:

1 scoop Egg White Protein or Beef Protein Isolate (approx 30 grams)
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup ice

Directions: Add all ingredients in to a food processor or blender, and blend thoroughly. Add optional ingredients if desired. Ice can also be added to achieve the desired consistency.

This will provide a frosty treat that can be enjoyed at any time, and you may consider kicking it up with some additional cocoa powder or chocolate pieces for a creamy and delicious chocolate peanut butter alternative!
